Two and a half years ago I made a cartoon called THE HUMAN RAT. It was mediocre and basically just a course ripoff, but I had fun making it. I started making a sequel, with a more interactive environment, but quickly lost interest. Here is what I had so far:

I will never finish this, it's sat in my folder of Dead Flash anims for over 2 years. So that is where you com in. I am giving out the .fla to this anim for anyone to work on. If you wish, you can download it and finish it to your liking, keeping the original style intact.

The person who completes it the best--with the best show of skill, cleverness, and creativity--will have his version placed in the Animations section of my site. I may also place some honorable mentions in the submitted section. You can download the .fla here:

Err... New stuff coming soon.

When I do have stuff, it'll be a lot. I am currently using an accelerated dialup service that is a lot faster than my old service, but for some reason, all FTP servers are inaccessible. This means that to update/upload stuff I have to dialup using my old service, which is unpleasant. So I'll put off adding crap untill i ahve enough to put myself through the torture of using a slightly slower internet service. I didn't die in a FTP accident, though I was severly injured.

It has been over 2 months since I last updated, meaning that I must update or else this news page will be blank. Luckily for you, there is updateble material! SHORTS 16-20 is FINISHED and is on the animations page. You should enjoy it greatly. Also, I uploaded the most recent of version of Shorts 11-15, the one with the trippy music during the "DIFFERENT" part. I recommend watching Shorts 11-15 again before Shorts 16-20.

Also, there is a new submitted animation that seemed to shine above the rest of teh crap I've been getting lately.

Some people have been e-mialing me asking me about assinine tasks in Flash, like "how do u maek the stikc guy punch r kick????1//" and "how do u maek it so u moev thigns without makign teh back gorund screw up??!??//" (Luckily I have a secretary who gladly answers such e-mails.) But to me the fact of the matter is, I don't think you should get personalized help, you should get this response:

The people who end up becoming good animators are those who take the time and initiative to figure out how to do things for themselves.

....Or look at tutorials and extrapolate from there. I'll probably still make a huge tutorial sometime, but not in the near future.

I just realized that there was a cartoon that I never put on my site. It is "The Adventure Through the Crappy Animations" that I made over 2 years ago (Back when Zima still sucked). It was a big parody of crappy animations on SFDT. Since it was only directed towards SFDT I didn't put it up on my site at the time, but now as it seems SFDT is having some trouble, I'm putting it up now. Even now, some people might learn from it. Its on the Animations Page.

Shorts 19 and 20 are coming along; I might release Shorts 16-20 by december. EVOLVRON2 is slow in progress, however. I have no idea when I'll finish that. And the forum is alive! Thanks to all who are posting!

My friend Logan finally finished and uploaded our spanish video form 3 months ago. Here it is. It's pretty funny, but be sure to read the disclaimer. Already Logan is working on a newer better movie. As for me--I'm still working on stuff. I started Short 19, and some other things are going on in the background--for instance it was proposed that I make EVOLVRON 2, which I probably will do. I'll make it with better graphics/music/controls too.

I also updated some affiliates as you can probably see. I replaced my link to the legendary StickWars with Streamline a well as updated the link to IGS's and FlashMafia's new sites. Oh also, if you missed it, there is a hilarious cartoon in place of TheBoke's old site, click the link up top to view the hilarity.

Short 18 is done and in the animations section. Took me long enough.... School has started so.... yeah. Dont expect frequent animations from me. Not like summer made that big of a difference.... But I still will work on stuff from time to time; things will get done.

I am now hosting streamline.aeflash.com, a cool website made by a long time friend, Alex Zima. After being on many sites for the past couple years he has finally decided to go solo and create a site of his own: Streamline. He will actually update it himself and soon it will have about 15 animations on it, with new ones added periodically, unlike a certain demon we are all familiar with....
